Lodging

For those of you coming in from out of town and needing lodging, we've arranged for lodging at the Marriott Residence Inn in Fair Lakes. We've arranged for a rate of $89/night for a studio or one bedroom, and $129/night for a two bedroom. The two bedroom suites have two full baths and each bedroom is connected directly to one of the full baths.

To receive this rate and be guaranteed a room, you must do the following:

1. Make your reservation no later than August 11^th.
2. You must inform the reservation clerk that you are requesting a reservation under the Milano/Wicks Wedding Block.

If you need to change or cancel your reservation, please do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid problems. All confirmed reservations that have not been canceled by 4:00 p.m. the day of arrival will automatically be direct billed to the reserving credit card.

Right next door to the hotel are two full-service restaurants, Logan's Roadhouse and The Crabhouse. Walk a little further down the street, and you will find a McDonald's, a sandwich place called Paisanos, a Pizza Hut delivery/takeout, and a really good local restaurant called The Blue Iguana. (Don't let the name fool you...while it's a great restaurant, it's not Southwestern food, it's American.) We think it's worth the walk to go to The Blue Iguana. Click here for a review.

A drive of under five minutes (or walk of fifteen minutes) will get you to (all of these are in the same plaza) Cooker, Applebee's, Sgt. Pepper's buffet restaurant, Cantina D'Italia, Tony's Pizza, Red Pepper (Chinese), Red Robin, Don Pablo's, Star Thai, Burger King, Wendy's, Olive Garden, and TCBY.

Silver Diner, T.G.I. Friday's, Romano's Macaroni Grill, and Tia's Tex-Mex are a short drive away in the opposite direction.
